Pool Challenge!

The ACJC gang had it's 2nd Pool Premier League and Challenge trophy today, haha.... long time since the first. But we missed the appearance of Jason the striver and Kenneth the casual player, who i almost forgot that he's in Dublin.
Here are the highlights - The last match was Yibin's crucial match point game to hold the challenge against Yew Shih's flaming wipe outs to victory in the Premier League. Despite witty strategies and chi nai de li liang, Yibin still succumbed to his attacks. Yew Shih won with 4 wins out of 5. As usual I was the last and thus face relegation actions =(. Lu Hui the defending Champion of 2001, couldn't maintain his title but saved his face with 3 wins and a decent goal difference. But I'm sure he'll be back.
In the Challenge Trophy Playoffs, only Lu Hui had a walkover, but Huaguang joined him when Yibin left before the start due to an important media conference. I had Lady Luck by my side and managed to struggle my way to the finals with a susilo style victory against the League Champion YS, and the defending Champion LH. But it was not to be as my aspirations for a comeback is crushed by my nemesis Jinyuan.
Jinyuan won the Charity Shield against Yew Shih, 2 to 0.
