Bon Voyage!!!

Haven't been blogging for the last 4 days.... Busy with things. Well I was 1 and a half hrs late for soccer with my friends in ACJC on saturday. Woke up at 8.45am... thought I set an alarm? It's isn't important but this late coming for appointments is frustrating.
Scored 2 goals.... that fateful day. Also, surprised to see Lu Hui back from Perth- I could immediately recognise him from afar, owing to his unique physique. It wasn't exactly the best day and weather to play soccer then. the ground was slippery and was drizzling relentlessly. *raining now... very heavy indeed.(my grandpa excoriating the rain )*It wasn't surprising...muz be that monsoon season blowing over from the South China Sea. But it's a good deal i suppose, good in the sense it wipes out the haze caused by those pesky irresponsible indonesians burning what remains of their fast disappearing virgin forest- a shame and a pity indeed.
After the soccer, we lunched in HV (Holland Village) at Thai Express. I love their fried rice there... just mouth-watering- appetizing is an understatement here. (a gastronomic equivalent of a lady with that 'va va voom' factor).

Afterwhich, we sojourned down to town while yew shih and Huaguang went home. At Dhoby Ghaut, Sheng Shi met up with his other friends to lan somewhere near PS, while we head to Paradigm looking for a game of pool. Couldn't and wouldn't wait for its killer queue, we switched to our usual pool place under Far East. By this time, only me, Jinyuan, Chongwei, and Lu hui was left. Had four 2 on 2 games before playing a championship. Starting off, me vs Lu Hui the underdog. Loosing focus, I lost. Next, Cw & Jy. As expected, the defending champion Cw won with his unassuming flair and talent. Fast forward, Cw is champs, Lh 2nd, Jy 3rd and me last. Sad. What a flop. Maybe pool isn't my cup of tea.
We went separate ways but gathered back at the airport at 10.30am to see Yew Shih off to Adelaide. Zhiwei and Lawrence was there too.

We could have gone home but came up with a consensus to lun over the nite. Lu Hui couldn't so it was down to the 4 of us. We had roughly 30+ games of big 2 at the viewing gallery before collapsing into hibernation at the BK around 3.30am... Stirred awake by casual conversations from the customers, we left the Port at 6am, still feeling grogy. Had breakfast in bedok before heading back home... to zzzz.
