The module auction is starting and i'm already flustering to decide wat to take.... financial accounting confirmed but r the new students protected for FNA1002? Kaoz loads and loads of qn flooding my mind.... how many points to put? What Gem to take? I din declare my minor!!! then now gotta call up and ask.... ARGH!!! so troublesome and mentally straining... some more i'm only bidding for 2 mods. Imagine the other Facs! kaoz... i ker to to them.... I think the bidding system is too time consuming.... now i prefer NTU's first come first serve thingy... at least u just end up wif a !@#* up timetable. ::Scratching head::

Wed 22nd ... Had a meeting in Suntec Marche under this pavillion ... Discussed about the video production, theme for o week etc.... but i still clueless what is there exactly for me to do... I'm a lousy idea producer.... tha's why i chose Logs. I juz had a Rosti with Cheese (a sausage actually. but dunno y they name it as cheese). Seriously going pork after so many outings.... still need to get new clothes etc... haiz. The dinner lacks mingling i guess... but ya weixian did a good job trying to break the ____.

Thurs 23rd ... It's been a while I attended this kind of outdoor bidding dinner (at Bukit Batok)... i dunno what the function is but some pai pai thing. They have an amazing and delectable ensemble of dishes... i esp like the cold dish with the sweet sauce. Not forgetting the tooth decayingly sweet dessert at the end of the main course... some peanut dumplings in malt soup i think? Sounds weird but it's delicio. My pa bidded two items one for 180 and the other 400 plus ... it's some oranges and ang pows wif 4D, big sweep tickets... so ex... but that's the way it works... if u bid u get a table automatically next year. the higher u bid for an item, the nearer ur table will be to the front. The auctioneer reallly has a good grasp in his hokkien... i can't catch half of the things he said. But it's a good way to have a nice dinner... noisy env but it's once a year kind of thing. HUAT AH!!!! (means strike it rich)....

Fri X'mas Eve ... Went on board the casino ship for my first time (geesh alotsa first times this dec)... The ferry there is like 40 mins, gotta change to another ferry in Batam b4 heading to the Ship and the bobbling made me wanna throw up.... luckily i din get into navy medical. The ship's interior is really appalling. Smells like sewerage on the lower decks... the free rooms we got r so cram and one of the bed is spoilt too. Luckily we r only spending a few hrs in it... I shan't dwell into it... cos i din have a very good time there... but i guess it's enriching... learned a few tips and rules in roulette though i din bet much. If ever u intend to have a kill... dun play jackpot... cos it'll kill u first, my pa is a living example.

Sat X'mas ... Got a call from Jinyuan... suddenly say want to come my house cos they are thirsty... ermm that time i thought it's quite a stupid reason... haha... but it's nice for them to visit. Actually i also dunno where house 31 32 is... never really bothered... They came they saw, had a drink, ate some weird indonesian fruit my parents offered them which i myself never eat b4. then we left to centrepoint to eat pizza... did nothing much... couldn't do much wif them earlier on cos i'm still on the sea. Jason arh... be more courteous when parking and follow the directions!!! But ur driving really superb... can suddenly appear on the left then the right of us... i dun even know!

Sun 26th ... the fateful day when the quake strike and caused huge death tolls across the region... even somalia! I hope that more can be done to get the locals back to their life asap... Condolences to all the ppl affected... I think somehow it's God's fate, it strike on the holiday season when most ppl are hanging out at the beaches and near the tip of Aceh, making Phuket and the tourist fave spots unescapable to the destructive force of the tsunamis. It's also a day where most of the NUS students felt heart broken, though some reaped what they sowed. I myself couldn't be too happy or sad... 4 is above ave... but i could have done better. Now I really need to refocus my priorities and be more conscientious. Somehow I felt numb to all this grades... is there nothing else to life than grades? He bi wei le this matter er fan nao? (Blogspot better had chinese input fn... irritating using hanyu all the time)...

Mon 27th ... Blading day, ww bought the cups... i thought it would be some plastic limp cups but it turn to be quite the opposite, the cups are good! Good Job ww. We stick to cups cos cones still r too ex. went to the end of ecp on the right facing the sea... there we practiced some slalom... this friendly guy was also practicing there but of course he's a pro... he gave us some tips like start off with clapping wif the blades to achieve balance, how to do snake reverse etc... We managed to clear 12 cones on one leg, haha! JW gotta buck up! saw Anson also the first friendly guy we met back in April... haven't seen him for a long time... glad he still recognise me... haha need some mentor. JW: u caused us to blade thru' the rain!!!! tsk tsk there goes my powerslide... haiz... sack the survey company la...

Tues 28th ... WooHOO!!! Got my insurance... Applied for UOB Life Assurance (Maxi Savings V and Maxi Guard III) ... finally something on my to do list is struck off. Have been tryin to get insurance since last month, now i did it!! I thought the prudential girl will call me for appointment wif her but i guess she met her quota... I got one endowment and one whole life policy. My mum asked me why i chose UOB... and i answered: dunno? typical... but i feel more secure having a local bank as my insurer... AIA, prudential is too commercial... but i dun really know the pros and cons of the diff policies offered. Some advice from Jaeson Teoh, the personal banker who attended to us: Get a whole life policy early cos that means the premiums will be lower (everyone should at least have one whole life policy).... opt for a shorter premium term one so that u do not have to carry on the liability later in life (that frees up ur cash for further planning)... if u pay the premiums annually instead of monthly, it'll be cheaper (not much though).
I also found this pet shop in Serangoon Gardens which sells practically everything... though some of their products packaging looks tattered. I managed to get hold of the head collar... from now on blackie and brownie cannot run any'O'how when i take them out HAHA! Time to teach them some manners...

Wed 29th ... which is today, it's our much planned and discussed ZEUS outing, had lunch at Seoul Gardens in Jurong Point... which i still dun get y URA named it Jurong Point when it is next to the Boon Lay MRT... so misleading. Should change it to Boon Lay Mall or something. Lao ta doina, tianfa, weiya, zhiyong, leo, wy and me r there. I'm not particularly fond of Seoul Gardens... their variety also not a lot... chi dao sianz... we had a good time chatting abt driving, school mods!, etc... I feel guilty not helping Doina and the publicity department do the banners... but heheh, i can't bring myself to shen chu yuan shou. After the lunch, went back to Jurong East for ice skating... where tingyi was waiting for us... turn out not so bad but quite a few can't join us... pity. Ice skating... my first time... again... is actually much like blading... accept that u can't do a lot of tricks. Entry is relatively fuss free, but the place was jam packed wif ppl... those small kids wif their mean looking metal stands looks like some vehicle driven with a drunk driver... gotta siam them.... i guess all of us had a good fall accept wy. I fell 3 times and got my pants soaked... haha... tianfa injured himself but i guess he's alrite. we r like skating on water instead of ice... their resurfacing also half f***... =( wy and leo tried to push weiya, tingyi, and ge sheng out of the rink... and they ought to! But I think everyone leveled up their skills after that session...haha... for me ice skatin a good way to try out all the diff slides. cool! But other than that u can't do much but skate quan quan... got sian after a while.... but i'll try it again if there is a chance! Only $10.40 for one day.
