Working thru the weekends...

For those of you who didn't get the chance to work at the Creativex Fest that took place from 27th to 29th May, do not be dismayed... there are still many chances. The pay isn't that attractive according to a staff that i spoke to... But better than nothing eh. However the good thing that ppl kept returning to the fest ain't the pay but the perks =) Hoho... got a free creative membership, but i think it'll be useless since i dun usu buy anything from creative... as a matter of fact i spend a penny on electronics compared to other stuff (If any one of u wants to get stuff at member's price at the next fest, just give me a call and i'll gladly lend u my card, no strings attached!). On top of that, we got to buy stuff at staff prices that is lower than star buy prices! Not surprising they offered zen micro 6GB and Neeon for us, i guess that they have a lot of stocks left. As of now I have a zen micro 6GB (for 299!) and a pair of cute orange SBS vivid60 speakers (19 only!) to keep my IBM T42 company. It was tiring working consecutively for 3 days.... but get to see some chio girls!
Nice meeting najmi, vic, and wei at the fest haha, but no time to hang around with them ... though the crowd isn't overwhelming.

The next day, i went to report at Tai seng's Austinco for my new sai kang job... woke up at 8.29am when i'm supposed to report at 8.45am! But when i reach there, it isn't even opened... shld have known, the working world especially in SMEs is quite flexible, they just want u to get the job done by the stipulated time. It was the most highly paid day for me $60 for 5 hrs! Whahah, tan thio liao!! since we only move off at 1 plus and worked till 6pm. The place we are working on now is at Kallang Bahru's NTUC, wing's childhood place where he lived for 15yrs!! Unexpectedly and certainly most coincidental is that my parents' company is handling part of the upgrading project there too... what a small world, especially in Singapore... no denying... onward we shall install the shelves!! shag !!
